Craniomandibular Rehabilitation

TMJ pain, facial pain, neck pain, headaches, ear pain, ringing or stuffiness of the ears, clicking or popping, difficulty opening the mouth, chewing and talking are symptoms of TMJ dysfunction which may be caused by muscles, malocclusion, grinding or bruxing and joint pathology. Specific techniques such as myofascial releases, cranial mobilizations, TMJ mobilizations, muscle stretching, pain modalities as ultrasound, Iontophoresis, moist heat and specific exercises are provided as needed to treat these causes. Therapists work with your doctor, dentist or orthodontist to provide the appropriate treatment.
